I’ve learned that letting go doesn’t always have to be dramatic. It doesn’t have to come with big decisions or strong declarations. Sometimes, it’s quieter than that.
Lately, I’ve been letting go of things gently.
I’m letting go of the pressure to have everything figured out.
Letting go of the idea that I have to move faster to be “doing enough.”
Letting go of old expectations that no longer fit who I am now.
Letting go of the need to explain myself all the time.
This kind of letting go doesn’t happen overnight.
It happens in small choices — choosing rest instead of pushing, choosing honesty instead of perfection, choosing softness instead of control.
I’m realizing that some things don’t need to be forced out of our lives.
They just need to be released slowly, with compassion.
Letting go gently feels safer.
It feels kinder.
And right now, that’s exactly what I need.
