If you’re healing slowly, I want you to know something.
You’re not behind.
Healing isn’t a race, even though the world often makes it feel that way. There is no timeline you’re supposed to follow, no deadline you’ve missed.
Some wounds take time because they mattered.
Some healing moves slowly because it’s deep.
You’re allowed to rest.
You’re allowed to pause.
You’re allowed to take your time.
Healing doesn’t always look like progress from the outside. Sometimes it looks like staying still, breathing, surviving, choosing yourself quietly.
If all you did today was get through the day, that counts.
If all you did was listen to your body, that matters.
You don’t need to rush your healing to make it valid.
You don’t need to explain your pace to anyone.
You’re allowed to heal slowly.
